The session featured interactive discussions and facilitated exchanges that explored the relationship between employability skills, social stability, and peacebuilding. Participants reflected on youth challenges and opportunities in contributing to peaceful and resilient communities, emphasizing how skills development, decent work, and economic inclusion can serve as entry points for strengthening youth agency, reducing vulnerability, and supporting community-level peacebuilding efforts.

The event provided a safe and creative space for dialogue, emphasizing the power of storytelling, culture, and visual media in fostering empathy, awareness, and collective reflection on peace and social cohesion.

Online Symposium on Sudanese Youth Participation in Peacebuilding​

The online symposium explored Sudanese youth participation in peacebuilding, with a focus on skills gaps, barriers to inclusion, and structural challenges facing young people. The event brought together youth activists, practitioners, and community actors to analyze constraints and opportunities for meaningful youth engagement in peace processes.
Through thematic discussions and shared reflections, participants examined pathways for strengthening youth-led contributions to sustainable peace, highlighting the need for inclusive spaces, skills development, and supportive frameworks that enable young people to actively shape peacebuilding efforts at community and national levels.

International Youth Day Celebration

Project Impact

The Youth Skills and Peace Engagement Campaign strengthened youth awareness of the relationship between skills development, leadership, and peacebuilding.
